Did you notice Amsterdam has a brand new hotel and restaurant Morgan and Mees. Situated in a complete renovated historical building?

You must check in on an early Saturday morning, in need for good coffee and some reading or simply to unwind. As an interior lover you can’t resist this place. Look at the art wall!

This modern timeless interior matches so well with this historical building. The spaces are a mix between Paris and New York. Perfect if you’re living in Amsterdam and love the feeling to be abroad that morning.

The design team has chosen for interesting steel lighting to style the hotel. We love the modern chandelier from Tonone in the restaurant and the lampe grass, as you know our favourite at the moment. This is an example what light can do for a place. Every single detail is thought through with care in hotel Morgan en Mees.

Last week I visited this amazing apartment in Soho on Greene Street. This cool apartment is an interior heaven for everyone who has a crush on timeless, unique interior design. I go crazy when I step into this apartment, every object, art piece or furniture looks so alluring. The styling is surprising in a minimalistic way. If you go for a styling advice you have to be in the walk-in closet. Can I move in?

The Apartment by the line is actually an offline store where fashion, home and beauty meet each other. You can learn more here about the creators: their inspirations, ideas and processes. You never get bored it’s such an inspirational place, every time again. Discover stories objects, art pieces and see how it combines together in The apartment. The goods are refined, versatile and honest carefully chosen to enrich a life well lived.  My favourites to dream of Hans Wegner chair cube Adrianna Shamaris or large paperclip & fashion pure texture & fall for protagonist all by the the line.

Tip for an inspirational saturday and don’t forget the art exhibition the body never lies. Love it.
Get inspired!

Thank you The Line for your hospitality & kindness!
Love, Wendy
