Founder and Creative Director
Wendy established her boutique studio in 2014 in New York, the city that provided her with the creative insights that have become the foundation of her business. Wendy’s vision is to enhance her clients’ living experiences with timeless spaces that have a positive influence on their everyday lives. Her ambitious ideas, perseverance, and can-do approach ensure that every project is executed to the highest standards. As the creative director of her boutique studio she is at the heart of every project. She has a deep understanding of the technical intricacies of building and design, having built up this knowledge over many years of working closely alongside contractors and building companies.
Jr. Interior Designer
This talented junior interior designer has a passion for all things technical. She works closely alongside our founder and creative director, either in the studio or on site, where she checks all the details to further enhance our designs. Having always had a strong interest in spatial design, Angela joined our team to focus on creating 2D drawings, floor plans and 3D visuals to help you better imagine your project. She likes to spend her free time boxing and indoor cycling. Her deep found love of architecture and design frequently leads her to Scandinavian cities, where she enjoys spending time.
Finance and Strategy director
Joris has been closely involved with Studio Wendy Mahieu from the beginning. He and Wendy founded the studio in 2014 from New York. With a degree in Business Administration, Joris worked for many years in the financial world as a trader and director for renowned international trading houses. His exceptional financial and strategic acumen contributed to the growth of Studio Wendy Mahieu into a successful company with an established reputation. On top of his financial and strategic duties, Joris also enjoys kitesurfing at sea.
Project Manager
Ratna is the one who develops the roadmap for each project and is your contact for all things admin. Much of her work is focused on our commitment to delivering your project on time and within budget. From monitoring expenses and handling purchases to coordinating deliveries and orchestrating final installations. Ratna works with everyone involved in your project to make sure it is completed to the highest standard. To balance her busy role in the studio, she spends a lot of time on her yoga or Pilates mat and in the majestic nature of Mallorca.
